Role Summary


We are seeking an experienced Director, Marine Engineering to lead our Marine Engineering Chapter based in Southampton Office. As a key member of our Corporate Shipbuilding team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ships that meet our customers' expectations.



Main Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement strategies to improve our shipbuilding process, focusing on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to colleagues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance our shipbuilding process.


Essential Requirements



  • A strong background in marine engineering, with significant leadership experience.
  • An excellent understanding of international maritime regulations and standards.
  • The ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
