Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Engineering Director to join our Corporate Shipbuilding team in Southampton. As a key leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of holiday experiences across the Carnival Corporation fleet.

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for influencing the technical excellence and delivery effectiveness of our teams or functions by providing expertise, mentorship, and innovation in shipbuilding, design, and engineering activities.

About the Role

  • Contribute to the design and development of fuel technologies and associated systems for new vessels while participating in the planning and execution of shipbuilding projects.
  • Oversee and approve complex technical plans, documents, and drawings related to ship design and construction across multiple categories within the discipline.
  • Conduct technical reviews and analysis of existing and future technologies to identify areas for optimization.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in marine engineering with considerable leadership experience.
  • Proven track record in the design and development of cruise ships or large marine vessels.
  • Knowledge and applied practice with international maritime regulations and standards.
  • Ability to influence others, particularly in technical and commercial arguments.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
