Our Corporate Shipbuilding division is passionate about building world-class vessels for these brands. As a Marine Engineering Strategic Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our shipbuilding department. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead technical excellence and delivery effectiveness across multiple projects.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in marine engineering, with considerable leadership experience. They will be able to influence others, particularly in technical and commercial arguments, and utilise negotiation skills as necessary. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with LNG and alternative fuel technologies in marine applications.
In this role, you will oversee and approve complex technical plans, documents, and drawings related to ship design and construction. You will also mentor colleagues in such activities. Additionally, you will conduct technical reviews and analysis of existing and future technologies to identify areas for optimization.
This is a full-time position, on a permanent basis, with an offering of hybrid work including up to two days from home. We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits, including annual bonus, minimum 25 days leave, bank holiday allowance, and holiday trading scheme.
