About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineering Specialist to join our team at Lloyd's Register. As a leading international technical professional service provider, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a trusted advisor in the marine and offshore industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appraise and assess plans related to marine equipment and components for new building, conversions, and in-service vessels.
  • Stay updated with revisions to Statutory, Rule, and Flag requirements, ensuring proper implementation.

  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field, along with a Chartered/Professional qualification and active membership in a relevant professional institution.
  • Extensive experience in offshore or marine machinery and engineering system design or appraisal, gained from various roles such as shipyards, classification societies, ship owners, designers, and manufacturers.
