About the Role

Securitas is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide administrative support to our Client, fostering a positive security culture amongst customers, staff, and contractors.

This role will involve reporting directly to the Security & Resilience Manager.

The working hours will be 40 per week, from Monday to Friday, with flexibility required depending on workload.

We are offering a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive admin support to the team, including meeting arrangements, document scanning, filing, report production, and office cover.
  • Utilize the Incident Management System to record and escalate security event reports as necessary, tracking updates in the relevant spreadsheet.
  • Monitor the security hatch alarm system and address any faults.
  • Develop, monitor, and update Security Technician site visit routes.
  • Conduct regular audits.
  • Manage the Security mailbox and allocate tasks to Security Technicians.
  • Compile centralized information regarding Security Technician annual leave/sickness and monthly reports.
  • Produce reports on security events, trends, and activities.
  • Offer guidance and advice to customer staff as directed.
  • Promote a positive security culture amongst customers' employees, partners, and contractors.

The post holder may be expected to work outside normal hours and weekends occasionally.

Essential Skills

Essential skills include:

  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Effective relationship building and communication skills at various levels.
  • Flexibility is essential, with a willingness to work out of hours and weekends when needed.
