We are seeking a skilled Logistics Sales Professional to join our client, a UK Freight and Logistics company.

As a Logistics Sales Professional, you will be responsible for proactively building relationships with existing clients to nurture and maximise business potential. A high standard of customer care is prevalent at all times.

Main duties of the Logistics Sales Professional include:

  • Account Management
  • Generating and calculating freight quotations / tender documents
  • Drafting and sending appropriate sales correspondence
  • Follow up calls
  • Managing sales process through to closure
  • Ensuring that the quotes are completed promptly and are followed up to maximise conversion
  • Client visiting where required

Key skills and experience required:

  • Confident communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Freight forwarding or export sales experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven success of calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
  • Experience of negotiating with clients and suppliers
  • Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Good administrative skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Professional attitude when representing the company

The successful Logistics Sales Professional can expect to earn a competitive salary, reflective of previous experience, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

We're looking for enthusiastic people who have a positive and engaging personality, with a 'can do' attitude and customer service-oriented ethic by nature, with experience working as a BDM or Account Manager.
