Logistics Sales Professional

We are seeking a Logistics Sales Professional to proactively build relationships with existing clients and nurture business potential.
Main duties include:
- Account Management
- Generating and calculating freight quotations and tender documents
- Drafting and sending sales correspondence
- Follow-up calls
- Managing the sales process through to closure
- Ensuring quotes are completed promptly and followed up to maximise conversion
- Client visiting where required
Key skills and experience required:
- Confident communication skills
- Sales or customer service experience
- Freight forwarding or export sales experience is an advantage
- Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
- Negotiation skills with clients and suppliers
- Key account management experience with proven relationship development
- Good analytical and numeracy skills
- Administrative skills, including MS Office
The successful candidate will have a positive and engaging personality, with a 'can do' attitude and customer service-oriented ethic.
They will be able to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and expect to earn in the region of £25k + commission, reflective of previous experience.
