Logistics Sales Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Sales Professional to join our team at Red Recruit, a specialist recruitment agency for the freight and shipping industry.

As a Logistics Sales Professional, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing clients, nurturing and maximising business potential, and providing exceptional customer care at all times.

Main duties of the Logistics Sales Professional include:

  • Account Management
  • Generating and calculating freight quotations and tender documents
  • Drafting and sending sales correspondence
  • Follow-up calls
  • Managing the sales process through to closure
  • Ensuring quotes are completed promptly and followed up to maximise conversion
  • Client visiting where required

Key skills and experience required:

  • Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Freight forwarding or export sales experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
  • Experience of negotiating with clients and suppliers
  • Key account management experience with proven success in developing relationships
  • Good analytical and numeracy skills
  • Good administrative skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Professional attitude when representing the company

The successful Logistics Sales Professional can expect to earn a competitive salary, reflective of previous experience, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
