About the Role:
Adecco UK is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team. As an experienced professional in accounts payable and receivable, you will be responsible for managing the accounts department, inputting invoices, responding to customer queries, and processing refunds. You will also play an active role in fraud control and reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts department mailbox and respond to email correspondence.
  • Input purchase invoices and credit notes into the purchase ledger.
  • Act as the first point of contact on the accounts phone lines, resolving customer queries.
  • Process customer refunds and respond to sales and purchase ledger queries.
  • Play an active role in fraud control and monitor customers on hold.
  • Reconcile bank statements for multiple accounts and reconcile supplier statements.


Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable, or relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in an inventory-based business is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.


Estimated Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £29,000 - £39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
