This is a hybrid working role at 37 hours per week.

**Main Purpose**

To provide excellent, proactive and high quality customer services at all times via a range of communication methods showing empathy, and understanding, for the specific needs of the customer.

Primarily, this role will be telephone-based, answering incoming and making outgoing calls from/to our clients and customers.

To ensure the timely and accurate administration of Purple’s Payments function.

**Responsibilities of Job**
- To provide the first point of contact with customers, acting as an effective triage, as part of the Payments service delivery.
- To ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing post, including distribution and scanning as required.
- Monitoring inboxes across required contracts.
- To handle all initial enquiries regarding the payments service, providing the required information and answers, and escalating where required.
- To provide a full set of administrative duties to support the Payments service function as directed.
- To maintain and update the CRM ensuring all information is correct and progress is recorded in an appropriate manner.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences in a variety of different ways.
- Excellent administrative skills, with the ability to track and record data accurately and effectively.
- Able to work proactively and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT knowledge, including the use of Microsoft and CRM software.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

**Desirable**
- Experience of working within a busy administrative, customer focused function.
- Experience of providing customer service over the phone.
- Experience of supporting customers with disabilities.

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
