Job Description Summary

This is a highly sought-after financial role in the Chelmsford area, offering a competitive salary of £42,500 - £50,000 per annum.

We're seeking a dedicated finance professional to manage and process customer invoices, oversee payroll, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage customer invoices for approximately 225 clients.
  • Oversight of payroll for around 100 employees, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Coordinate direct debit payments from customers.
  • Resolve customer queries and concerns via phone calls.
  • Manage credit control and collections, focusing on timely payments.
  • Submit and oversee invoices for local authority customers.
  • Support the finance department with administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A well-rounded background in accounting and payroll, preferably in the care sector.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Sage Accounts & Payroll and invoicing processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
