**Job Description:** Ward Administration Coordinator

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Ward Administration Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the ward, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key duties of the job:

  1. Book outpatient appointments for patients.
  2. Resolve patients', staff', and visitors' problems.
  3. Welcome patients to the ward/area and update them on bed availability.
  4. Chase HRS (Health Record Supplements) for all inpatients and ward attenders.
  5. Record ward attender or outpatient activities on the PAS system.
  6. Arrange transportation for patients and relatives.
  7. Organize accommodation for relatives.
  8. Liaise with patients and relatives regarding admission, discharge, and transfer.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of computer skills, preferably in patient information systems.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
