Matron in Learning Disability

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Registered Allied Health Professional or Nurse to fill the role of Modern Matron in our Learning Disability Division. This position involves providing clinical leadership and overseeing the clinical effectiveness of our services, ensuring high-quality and responsive care for our patients.
The successful candidate will have experience working in Learning Disability Services, significant clinical experience, and relevant management experience. They will be responsible for maintaining complex clinical caseloads, developing integrated pathways, and promoting good practice and relationships within multi-professional working.
As a key member of our team, the Modern Matron will contribute to the development of strategic overviews for continuing quality improvement, provide leadership and clinical support to clinical staff, and work closely with Divisional colleagues to review and improve services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of clinical effectiveness in Learning Disability Division
- Maintain complex clinical caseloads and develop integrated pathways
- Promote good practice and relationships within multi-professional working
- Contribute to development of strategic overviews for continuing quality improvement
- Provide leadership and clinical support to clinical staff
- Work closely with Divisional colleagues to review and improve services
Requirements:
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Membership/Registration of relevant professional body
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Significant clinical experience in relevant professional area
- Significant relevant experience working at senior management level
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
