We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Learning Disability Healthcare Manager to join our multi-professional team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be required to work within a 24-hour period, supporting audit, guidelines, and quality improvement approaches to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in their area.

Job Responsibilities

You will need to be registered with the NMC. Experience working within a national service, with professionals committed to improving patient lives, is essential. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills and participate in a Forensic Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as RNLD/RMN or Allied Health Professional Qualification, is required.
  • Current unrestricted registration with the NMC or HCPC is necessary.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development is expected.
  • Holding or undertaking Quality Improvement training is also essential.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent written communication skills are required.
  • Effective organisational and delegation skills are essential.
  • You must demonstrate and apply understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are also necessary.
Experience
  • Substantial experience working in a clinical care setting with people with learning disabilities and/or Mental Health diagnosis is required.
  • Significant experience of undertaking assessment, formulation, risk assessment, and positive risk management is essential.
  • Previous experience of working with people with mental health needs is also necessary.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
