Strategic Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Director of New Opportunities to drive business growth across the events and exhibitions industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities, primarily focusing on sectors such as aerospace & defense, mobility, and travel.
With a strong background in sales—ideally in the experience and exhibitions space—the Director will collaborate closely with our sales, creative, and marketing teams to deliver innovative solutions and client-first experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead new business efforts by targeting high-potential prospects within the corporate sector.
- Drive sales growth by building and managing a robust pipeline from prospecting to securing preferred supplier status.
- Present Spiro's unique value proposition through engaging presentations and pitches, working closely with the creative team to craft compelling proposals.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to expand Spiro's market presence and build relationships with key decision-makers.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a senior sales or business development role, ideally within the events or exhibitions industry. They will also have a strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth through innovative and strategic approaches.
