About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive with a proven track record in driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and managing finances. As our new Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction to achieve business growth and prepare the company for sale.

This is an exciting challenge for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to identify new market opportunities, optimize product portfolios, and expand distribution channels. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production, supply chain, and logistics are streamlined and scalable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, improve profitability, and position the company for sale.
  • Business Growth: Identify new market opportunities, optimize product portfolios, and expand distribution channels to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee the implementation of processes to streamline production, supply chain, and logistics, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and scalable.
  • Financial Management: Manage P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting to ensure financial health and positioning the company for sale.
Requirements
  • Proven FMCG Leadership: Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within the FMCG sector, driving growth in SME environments.
  • Strong Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management, investment strategies, and preparing companies for external audits or due diligence processes.
  • Commercial Insight: Strong market knowledge, identifying growth opportunities, expanding product lines, and developing strategic partnerships.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
