Overview:

GTS International is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Growth Manager for our client in the rail sector. This role will involve managing the full bid process to ensure high-quality submissions and providing coaching and guidance to direct reports.

About the Role:

  • Manage the full bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bid management: Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from initial research and planning to final submission and evaluation.
  2. Team leadership: Lead and manage a team of bid professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  3. Client relationship building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  4. Communication: Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization, including clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • APMP or Project Management qualification.
  • Proven experience in bid management with strong writing skills.
  • Stakeholder management and leadership experience.
