Sales Development Executive

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Executive to join our team at Verto People. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and increasing sales with key accounts across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global manufacturer of CNC accessories and engineering solutions, offering a range of products including tool holders, spindle accessories, modular systems, rotary tables, presetting equipment, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a background in CNC Machining, Milling, Mechanical Engineering, Cutting Tools, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing, with prior experience in business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities and increase sales with key accounts across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
- Sell a range of CNC accessories, including tool holders, spindle accessories, modular systems, rotary tables, presetting equipment, and more.
- Interpret technical drawings to provide cost-effective solutions to customers.
- Manage a sales pipeline and present to senior clients on products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts in your territory and increase sales with those accounts through regular meetings.
- Attend exhibitions and events to network and promote products and services.
- Prior experience as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, or Technical Sales Engineer.
- Knowledgeable of CNC accessories, such as tool holders, spindle accessories, modular systems, rotary tables, presetting equipment, or similar.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the West Midlands region and surrounding areas.
This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 base + £85,000 OTE, commission, company car/car allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, laptop/phone, and a remote-based role covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
