Job Overview

SF Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Development Executive - Exhibitor Sales to join their team in Solihull. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Development Director to achieve revenue targets for exhibitor sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Development Director to achieve revenue targets for exhibitor sales.
  • Cold calling, email, social media lead generation, face-to-face show walking, networking, and researching to drive sales growth.
  • Participate in sales and the Exhibitor Outbound sales team, winning and processing orders.
  • Motivate colleagues, maintaining a healthy level of competition.
  • Conduct sales calls on Teams or face-to-face.
  • Present at Exhibitor Days, generating leads and serving as a point of contact.
  • Work within the sales strategy to grow the business on shows where SF Recruitment is the official contractor.
  • Build on unofficial sales by working with the Business Development Director to identify new shows and Organisers.
  • Constantly look for crossover opportunities between official and non-unofficial shows, building multi-show exhibitors.
  • Visit exhibitions to ensure exhibitors are satisfied, scoping out new opportunities, and bringing competitor knowledge back to the department.
  • Manage and own your sales pipeline to ensure there is sufficient opportunity to meet targets.
  • Work to increase the scope of work and services provided to clients - upselling and cross-selling when appropriate and ensuring a profitable mix of income.
  • Collaborate with the wider Commercial Team to explore/support opportunities for sales within Organiser relationships.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues on ordering processes to ensure an effective handover and all information is captured on internal systems, including Clarity, Salesforce, and SOP.
  • Ensure all CRM systems and reporting information are up-to-date, well-maintained, and accurate.
  • Provide regular financial reports to the Business Development Director on pipeline, targets, and won work.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 + commission, with a competitive benefits package.
