Salesforce Functional Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Functional Lead to leverage their deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud functionalities to drive business process optimisation and deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements Gathering:
- Facilitate and lead functional workshops with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business requirements, ensuring seamless alignment with business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for Salesforce optimisation.
- Create detailed functional specifications and user stories to support successful project delivery.
- Salesforce Configuration:
- Design and configure Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud applications to meet business requirements, leveraging out-of-the-box functionalities and best practices.
- Customise Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules to align with business processes, ensuring efficient data management and streamlined operations.
- Implement data management strategies, including data import, export, and cleansing, to maintain data quality and integrity.
- Solution Design:
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Develop and document detailed design specifications, including process flows and data mapping, to support successful project delivery.
- Provide recommendations for Salesforce best practices and configuration standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery, managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Manage project status updates and provide regular communication to stakeholders and project teams.
- Line manage technical resources and work in a global matrix structure, ensuring effective team collaboration and communication.
- User Training and Adoption:
- Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance user adoption and ensure successful system implementation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce users, ensuring seamless system operation and minimal disruption.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes and user experience, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimise Salesforce utilisation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead with at least five years hands-on Salesforce implementation experience.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud functionalities and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members, with experience in Agile methodologies preferred.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and Experience Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce configuration tools and APIs.
- Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange applications.
- Understanding of integration with other systems.
- CPQ experience beneficial.
