About the Role
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to provide administrative support to the Paediatric Diabetes Team.
Main Responsibilities
As a key member of the administrative team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service to the Diabetes team, working closely with the secretarial team to manage busy workloads and shifting priorities.
Key duties include:
- Typing clinic letters, referrals and other correspondence using digital dictation, prioritising urgent and Fast Track correspondence
- Coordinating all aspects of meetings and appointment arrangements, including maintaining an Outlook Calendar
- Ensuring all databases are kept up to date with regular data inputting
- Providing administrative support at regular diabetes meetings, including taking/typing minutes

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and to Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The Trust works collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.
The Trust employs over 6258 staff, providing acute emergency and elective services, primary care direct access services and obstetric services to a population of approximately 407,000.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in secretarial/administrative experience, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and recent experience working in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
