**Cleaning and Hygiene Specialist Role**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cleaning and Hygiene Specialist to join our domestic department at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital environment. They will also hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ 2 in cleaning & support services or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain wards, clinics, and other areas of the hospital
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and machinery
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ 2 in cleaning & support services or equivalent
- BICSc certification or equivalent
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
