Job Introduction

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Relief Catering Assistant.

Package Description

This role offers a competitive salary of £12 per hour, paid weekly. You will work 25 hours per week during school term time, Monday to Friday, with no late nights or weekend work. This provides an excellent work-life balance, allowing you to spend more time with friends and family.

You will also benefit from:

  1. A dedicated L&D team to support you in developing your skills, including apprenticeships and training courses.
  2. Mileage paid at 45p per mile from base location.
Job Overview

As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will provide assistance with basic food preparation and deliver exceptional service to students and staff across multiple schools in your area.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Working on the tills during service (full training provided).
  2. Cleaning duties within the kitchen.
  3. Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is met.
  4. Providing friendly and polite customer service for all.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. The ideal candidate should have:

  1. Previous catering experience.
  2. A full driving licence to allow travel between schools.
  3. Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Food Hygiene level 2 (preferred, but training will be given).
  5. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
Salary and Benefits

£12 per hour, paid weekly, plus mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile.
