Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospital Cleaning and Hygiene Professional to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cleaning and hygiene team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and rooms according to established protocols.
  2. Operate heavy cleaning equipment and use specialized chemicals to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  3. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning and hygiene goals.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning and hygiene services.

Person Specification

  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary range is £23,615 per annum (pro rata), plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
