Senior Business Development Manager

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Strategic Software Applications Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing deals from both new and existing clients within the banking and capital markets industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RegTech, with experience in financial markets and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. They will be able to work effectively with clients to extract requirements from regulatory documents and design the most appropriate solution to address key pain-points.
The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive commission/bonus plan, 25 days annual leave increasing by 1 day each year up to 30 days, employer pension scheme, private healthcare medical cash plan, income protection, life assurance, gym/fitness benefits, excellent work-life balance and company culture, and home workspace equipment allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside our experienced Sales Team, attend meetings with potential existing clients and new prospects to determine technical and business requirements.
- Analyse and comprehend client business scenarios, data samples, and technical documentation to support productive problem solving and solution design.
- Create and confidently deliver presentations internally and externally.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years' experience in a Sales Solutions Engineer position within RegTech.
- Experience in financial markets required, with strong preference given to regulatory and compliance experience.
- Knowledge of general software architecture and inter-operability.
- Knowledge of the audit, governance and risk landscape would be a bonus.
