Job Summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our Bone Infection Unit. This is a twelve-month fixed-term contract, commencing August 2024. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced bone infection specialists, including consultants in orthopaedic oncology and complex arthroplasty.

Main Duties
  • Teaching: Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students from Birmingham University during their oncology attachment to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
  • Research: Participate in research sessions and contribute to ongoing research and audit commitments.
  • Audit: Play an active role in the Hospital's clinical audit programme, adhering to Trust and Royal College of Surgeons criteria.
