The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit three Senior Clinical Fellows in Arthroplasty Surgery to enhance our capacity and improve the delivery of high-quality Joint Replacement Surgery to patients referred from General Practitioners, other secondary and tertiary care providers.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of the Clinical Governance structure developed by the Trust to monitor, maintain, and develop the quality and effectiveness of care.
- Contribute to the development of medical staff through individual appraisal, including audit of personal clinical practice, involvement in department/speciality reviews, and attention to continuing professional development.
- Undertake safe and ethical clinical practice, responding promptly to any circumstances that may result in increased clinical risk of adverse outcome.
- Have the opportunity to undertake independent supervised operating and outpatient clinics, as well as research and audit projects.

Person SpecificationEducation and Qualifications
- Registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
- FRCS (Orthopaedic) or an appropriate higher surgical qualification.

- Proven experience in orthopaedic surgery and arthroplasty techniques.
