About the Role
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to employ a Senior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedic Oncology and Joint Reconstruction. The appointee will have elective orthopaedic oncology and joint reconstruction commitments, allowing for consultant cover to orthopaedic oncology sessions and inpatient care of those orthopaedic oncology and arthroplasty patients.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with hip and knee conditions, working within a multidisciplinary environment, and possessing excellent communication skills. They will also be expected to have experience in both orthopaedic oncology and joint replacement surgery.
About the Team
The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Oncology Service (ROHOS) is a leading unit in the UK, with a workforce of eight consultants, six clinical fellows, two registrars, a nurse consultant, Macmillan specialist nurses, MDT coordinators, patient liaison officers, and administrative staff. The team is committed to providing world-class services and exceptional patient and staff experience.
