An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in a rotational scheme, implementing and reviewing evidence-based programmes of physiotherapy care for patients.
  • Liaise with senior staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Work on a six-monthly rotational basis in various areas, including out-patients, gymnasium rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and orthopaedic in-patients.
  • Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your work, including patient management and caseload.
  • Perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessments, using manual techniques and clinical reasoning to determine diagnoses.
  • Formulate and deliver individual treatment programmes, evaluating and modifying plans as needed.
Professional Responsibilities
  • Maintain your clinical professional development and portfolio, staying up-to-date with new trends and developments.
  • Participate in in-service training, attending tutorials and peer review sessions.
  • Provide clinical experience and supervision for undergraduate physiotherapy students.
