About the Role

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a detail-oriented Learning and Development Assistant to provide essential legal education and development support to one of our leading law firm clients in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and update US weekly and monthly training reports on the Firm's tracking system
  • Develop attorney development onboarding and leaver checklists
  • Coordinate Practice Group trainings, including arranging rooms, issuing calendar invitations, and updating training trackers
  • Issue compliance courses to new attorneys and track completion
  • Provide London attorneys with reports on their training compliance
  • Prepare CLE training accreditation applications and liaise with US peers to ensure London training is accredited for US admitted attorneys
  • Liaise with US peers on Learning Management System (LMS) trainings and London attorney attendance
  • Book external courses and maintain budget spreadsheets
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and events
  • Assist with admin for attorney engagement activities
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months relevant learning and development experience, ideally in the legal sector or professional services
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Word and Excel
  • Innovative mindset
  • Excellent team player
  • Reliability, commitment, and punctuality
