About the Role

Annapurna, a leading insurance firm, is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will be responsible for the full Learning and Development remit for the organization, across all areas and all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an annual training plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify skills gaps and training requirements, ensuring a seamless integration with the organization's overall business strategy
  • Design and deliver training programs, as well as source and partner with external providers to enhance the learning experience
  • Lead all early-careers initiatives, including the apprenticeship program, to foster a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Manage the annual training budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support business objectives

About You

We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist with a proven track record in implementing organization-wide L&D activities and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic approach, a curious nature, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound knowledge of L&D best practice, with a focus on adult learning theory and instructional design
  • Experience of creating and delivering training to a range of group sizes and demographics, with a focus on engaging and interactive learning experiences
  • Good IT proficiency and experience using an LMS to manage training programs and track learner progress
