Special Educational Needs Tutor

We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Tutor to support children with moderate learning difficulties, autism, and communication challenges in our school in Salisbury. As a Special Educational Needs Tutor, you will work closely with the class teacher to create an individualized education plan for each student, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive.
You will provide one-on-one support to students, helping them develop their academic and social skills. The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to staff meetings and training sessions to ensure that the entire school community is aware of and supports students with additional needs.
A key aspect of this role is building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will need to be flexible and adaptable, with a patient and empathetic approach. A degree in a relevant field, such as Education or Special Education, would be advantageous.
