Support Worker for Children with Special Needs

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students aged 3-18 with Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the SENCo and class teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Provide emotional and practical support to students, promoting their confidence and self-esteem.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents is essential.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training is required.
