Driver for Special Needs Transportation

As a Part-time Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation services to children with special educational needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Transport children to and from educational institutions while maintaining a high standard of safety and care
- Support children with special needs during boarding and exiting the vehicle, prioritizing their comfort and well-being
- Develop effective relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff to ensure smooth transportation arrangements
- A valid UK driving licence and enhanced DBS clearance are essential requirements
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and staff are crucial for success in this role
This position comes with a competitive hourly rate of £11.44 (PAYE) or £12.83 (PAYE & Rolled Up Holiday Pay), reflecting the importance of this role in supporting vulnerable children.
