Teaching Assistant Role for Students with Special Needs

About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with a student who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, providing individualized support and developing strategies to enhance their learning experience.
- Support a student with Autism and other special educational needs in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with the class teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Aid the student with verbal and non-verbal communication and social skills development
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, as needed
We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who has a strong passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The school day runs from 8:30am to 3:15pm. We are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant who can work Monday to Friday.
Salary and Benefits£80-£90 per day, approximately £33,600 - £37,200 per annum.
