Special Education Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in an Early Years SEND setting.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, experience in teaching students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and a deep understanding of Autism and associated barriers to learning.
We are looking for a professional who can teach the curriculum with a multi-sensory approach, prepare and review class-based activities that lead to effective education, and develop self-responsibility in students.
A key part of this role will be ensuring good behaviour, safety, and security of all students, as well as developing positive attitudes towards others and the environment.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and directing classroom assistants effectively, showing sensitivity to students' needs, and keeping records of students' progress and achievement.
With a strong focus on meeting non-verbal students' needs and developing their language & communication skills, we require an individual with resilience, adaptability, compassion, and a good sense of humour.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £65,000 per annum, making it an attractive offer for experienced professionals.
