Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher to work with students who struggle with mental health, providing tailored support and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group lessons to students with mental health challenges, ensuring they receive appropriate academic support.
  • Create a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and understood.
  • Work closely with school counsellors, SEN (Special Educational Needs) coordinators, and other mental health professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the emotional and learning needs of each student.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and promoting resilience.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve academic and personal goals.
  • Encourage students to develop coping skills, build confidence, and improve their emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and involve them in their child's educational and emotional development.

Salary Information:

This position comes with an estimated salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
