Job Title: Academic SEN Tutor

We are looking for an experienced School Teacher to join our team as a SEN Tutor in the Salisbury area. As a long-term contract, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional development and potentially leading to a permanent position.

Salary: £14,000 - £21,500 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating tailored lesson plans for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Creating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to track student progress
  • Utilizing various teaching strategies and technologies to support different learning needs
  • Regularly assessing and adapting teaching methods to meet individual requirements

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in teaching students with SEN
  • A deep understanding of SEN conditions, learning difficulties, and effective teaching methodologies
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to suit individual needs
  • Excellent patience, empathy, and passion for supporting students with SEN
