Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive profitable growth across our focus markets in the built environment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve successful client engagement and profitable growth.

About the Role

  • We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve successful client engagement and profitable growth.
  2. Lead major bids and manage the client care programme on regionally important projects.
  3. Drive strategic business development from existing knowledge and contacts for the North East & Yorkshire market.
  4. Chair regular BD meetings and Regional Boards.
  5. Manage the Regional Key Client programme, Frameworks and sector approach.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of delivering business growth and developing high-performing teams.

You will have a deep understanding of the built environment and a proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering business growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
