Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:

  • Develops and implements asset management plans, considering total cost of ownership across the asset lifecycle.
  • Monitors obsolescence and risk, taking mitigating action to ensure business continuity.

Technical Projects:

  • Directs the design and development of CAPEX projects, acting as project owner or manager.
  • Participates in assigned installation and/or process improvement projects, adhering to project management guidelines.

Leadership and People Management:

  • Provides leadership to the production and maintenance teams, setting individual objectives and reviewing performance.
  • Manages and coaches a team of professionals, motivating employees through sincere and concrete feedback.

Maintenance Management:

  • Plans, prioritizes, schedules, and manages all maintenance activities to rectify break-downs and minimize business disruptions.
  • Ensures the availability of necessary materials, parts, and tools for maintenance execution.

Troubleshooting:

  • Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and technical control of production equipment, utility equipment, and refrigerating systems.
  • Locates the cause of disturbances, determines the nature and extent of faults, and determines whether immediate repair is necessary.

Preventive/Planned Maintenance:

  • Prepares preventive maintenance schedules and carries out inspections to identify technical underperforming conditions.
  • Assesses the state of maintenance and reports serious findings to production management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Researches, evaluates, and recommends new equipment, tools, and processes to enhance production and maintenance capabilities.
  • Monitors the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.

Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with operating, safety, quality, risk, and health regulations.
  • Monitors working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure employee safety.
