Job Description:

This position plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team with clinical procedures and providing administrative assistance as needed. As the primary point of contact for patients, you will serve as a liaison between the patient and the practice, facilitating effective communication and ensuring seamless care delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate schedules with professional staff, manage appointments, and register patients, verifying insurance coverage and appropriate referrals.
  2. Answer telephone calls and direct them appropriately, preparing each patient's medical record according to office protocol.
  3. Prepare patients for examination, assist elderly residents with gowning and seating as necessary, and perform CLIA waived tests as instructed by physicians.
  4. Maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment, order supplies as needed, and record vital signs such as blood pressure, height, weight, pulse, respirations, vision screening, and temperature.
  5. Prepare and administer vaccinations as required and float to other locations as needed.
  6. Perform all assigned duties and possess strong Medical Secretary background.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have

  1. Vocational/Technical training and/or a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent.
  2. A strong Medical Secretary background, including formatting, proofreading letters, and possessing good communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
