Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

About the Company:
VANRATH is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the Built Environment sector. Our client, a prominent fit-out contractor, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package including 37.5 hours working week, 29 days annual leave, pension plan, life assurance, health cash back plan, employee assistant programme, employee perks & discount scheme, cycle to work scheme, free car parking, and eye care vouchers.

Job Description:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of various fit-out projects, working closely with the Senior QS and Project Manager in a client-facing role. Key responsibilities include preparation and submission of valuations, collating variation quotations, procurement and management of sub-contractor accounts, collating and administering subcontractor documents, review of main contract documents, and preparation of monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree qualification or other relevant qualifications, experience working on fit-out and/or refurbishment projects, minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, commercially astute skills, strong IT skills, articulate communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
