Job Title: Claims Handler - Motor Injury Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team at Acorn Insurance & Financial Services LTD. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of motor claims, with a focus on Third Party Personal Injury Claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validating claims for indemnity and fraud
  • Providing proactive and accurate assessment of liability
  • Accurate quantum assessment of claims presented
  • Application of accurate reserves in line with company guidelines
  • Assisting with coaching and mentoring of less experienced handlers

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a culture of openness, trust, and respect
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to fact find and analyse information to result in accurate decision making
  • Experience of handling injury claims outside of the Low Value Personal Injury Claims Portal
