We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Claims Handler to join our team at Spotlightjobs. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-track claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage your own portfolio of claims, ensuring that they are handled in accordance with best practice and company policies.
  • Review claims regularly to ensure that they are accurately reserved and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Provide written reports and verbal presentations to the wider business and reinsurers, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that claims are handled effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain your own technical knowledge through training and seminars, and provide feedback and training to less experienced handlers.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to use your own initiative to explore all options to achieve the best outcome for the business.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting, with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of case law, statute, CPR, and Pre-Action Protocols.
  • Multi-track Personal Injury claims experience is essential for this role.
