Accounting Administrator Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and purchase ledger, accounting administration, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and promptly process sales, purchase, and invoicing documentation using manual input and auto-entry.
  • Set up accounts on SAGE.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and daily transactions.
  • Support the Accounts department in daily, monthly, and annual reporting processes.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Manager and Buyer to ensure stock records on SAGE are always up to date.
  • Perform other ad-hoc office tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales and purchase ledger, accounting administration, and invoicing.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Solid understanding of IT operations, particularly with SAGE LINE 50, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
