Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Strategy Lead to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of contractual risks while supporting the development of commercial roadmaps and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as capability lead for specific commercial processes, including export control, subsidy control, and anti-bribery compliance.
  • Develop and communicate policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing subject matter expertise across the business.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Commercial Strategy, helping to navigate and resolve complex commercial issues.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in negotiating or drafting contracts within a corporate environment.
  • Ability to make pragmatic, risk-based judgements that balance short-term project needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Practical experience working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver project-based outcomes.
  • Expertise in developing, documenting, and implementing policy and procedure documents.
  • Degree or professional qualification in a commercial discipline (e.g., MCIPs).
