We are seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. Based in Small Heath, Birmingham, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes. This long-term opportunity has the potential to become a permanent position for the right person.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining clear and consistent boundaries to manage any challenging behaviours effectively.
  • Encouraging active engagement and participation in classroom activities, helping students feel included and supported.

We are looking for a candidate with a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree. Experience working in a primary school setting is also essential. Qualifications like TeamTeach or training in Positive Behaviour Management are highly desirable.

Estimated salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
