Job Overview:

SEN Behaviour Support Worker

LTF Recruitment is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work within a Resource Base for SEN pupils in a welcoming primary school in Small Heath, Birmingham.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful impact on children with SEN.

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, promoting active engagement and participation in classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clear and consistent boundaries to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
  • Support teaching staff in developing and implementing behaviour management plans.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant degree.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Qualifications like TeamTeach or training in Positive Behaviour Management are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils.

Contract Type: Long-term to Permanent

Location: Small Heath, Birmingham

Salary: £95-105 per day
