Primary SEN Support Worker

The role of the Primary SEN Support Worker involves working one-to-one with a young child who has special educational needs, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. Aspire People is currently working alongside a Primary School in Birmingham to find an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support a student with SEND on a one-to-one basis, promoting social, emotional, and academic well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans, adapting to the student's varying needs and moods.
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring the student's focus and engagement during lessons.
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored lesson plans, incorporating the student's strengths and interests.
- Contribute to the school's safeguarding and child protection policies, upholding the highest standards of care and support.
The ideal candidate will possess a calm and caring demeanor, with experience supporting students with challenging behavior and adapting to their diverse needs.
Estimated Salary Range: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
