Educational Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support children with Special Educational Needs in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably with SEN students.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, ensuring all pupils are actively engaged and supported.
- Help with behavioural management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children, preferably with SEN students.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
- An understanding of the needs of students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other special educational needs is desirable.
- A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistant (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is an advantage but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
About the Salary:
The salary for this role is £22.50 per hour, based on experience.
